Q?   Where can I get good quality upholstery fabric?

A:   Sturdy Stitching Upholstery carries Robert Allen, Duralee, Kravet, Sunbrella, Crypton, Barrow, Norbar,

Q Collection, Anzea, Calvin, Garrett Leather, Roden Leather, Goliger Leather and Anthem Leather.

Samples books can be checked out to view in your own environment.

(You may provide your own fabric with a 40% cutting fee upcharge on the upholstery labor)

It will be helpful to have an idea of a basic color as most sample books are grouped by color.

Q?  Is my furniture worth upholstering?

A:   Do your best to determine your frame and spring configuration. Peel back a corner of the bottom

dust cover and see if the frame is a solid hardwood with glued and doweled joints.

(NOT particle board or plywood with stapled joints).

Coil springs that have been eight-way tied are desirable but no-sag springs are a fine way to

support furniture if they are narrow and adequately spaced.

Q?  What are your hours?

A:  Tuesday through Friday

     9:00am to 5:30pm

Q?   How do I get a rough estimate for the cost of re-upholstering my furniture?
